Welcome to the PolyU Wu Group

We aim to use our (analog, carbon-based) and machine (digital, silicon-based) intelligence to design and synthesize artificial materials.

We explore the vast space of frontier materials and deliver cutting-edge device technologies, assisted by Artificial Intelligence, High-Throughput Synthesis, First-Principles Calculations, and Advanced Synthesis.

Our focus areas include halide perovskites, epitaxial thin films, and mixed-dimensional heterostructures, to enable disruptive applications in optoelectronics, energy, the environment, and healthcare.
